Gerry O'Connor (born 21 July 1960 in Nenagh, County Tipperary, Ireland) is a traditional tenor banjo player.
From ages six to sixteen, Micheal learned piano before fully concentrating on the guitar, and later, like his father, he did song collecting and other musical fieldwork.
